Both excellent brands but in all honesty you would have to compare them side by side, you can do this on the FS site by comparing the 2 camcorders side by side. Its a handy tool...don't forget to read the customer reviews. You can even type in the model and do a search or even reviews. This will give you a pretty good idea on which one is better for you.
