Sorry if that sounded like I was being rude. I was just wondering if any of you guys did, I didn't try to make it sound like you should follow it. I guess if you read it in a different way it does sound kind of rude.

Oh, don't worry. I didn't interpret it that way. I actually checked out the site, seems like your typical specialty news site.
There was an interesting discussion about whether Jobs will single-handedly kill Flash with his decision not include it in the ipad.

Not if Android devices become mainstream.
Also Adobe can give Apple the taste of the own medicine by slowing down MAC development of their apps (eg. the Photoshops and the Illustrators).

Very true. Jobs has reportedly been trash-mouthing Adobe for be "lazy." Apparently he thinks that Flash is responsible for 1/3 of crashes on Apple computers. I don't know the specifics, but maybe Apples crash because...you know...maybe the OSX isn't quite as supremely immaculate as they would have us believe.

Regardless of the good and the not so good, I still think it would be a cool little toy. I'm not crazy about the 3G capabilities. Would be nice if we could hook up SD cards and traveldrives to it. Running a real OS would be a nice touch, that I agree with.

I'm also not a big fan of the 3G capabilities as that would mean an extra charge on top of what I already pay my service providers.
One thing that is sad at this point is that while Apple does have a SD/USB adapter that you can purchase, it seems that it's for stuff that you'd pull off your camera only (e.g. pictures and videos). Of course, I'm sure others will come out with other accessories and apps that will allow you to actually use an SD card as a storage device with the iPad (one was just released for the iPhone).
Like Morfanos, I actually also considered that if this tablet had the features I wanted, I actually might get it. While I'm far from an Apple fan, I can't discredit when any company makes good tech. In it's current version though, I'll be leaving it behind and will probably consider the HP Slate or another Windows based tablet (if I get one at all).

Is it touch screen? ![]()
It just needs its bezel fancied a little.... add a couple more ports... then it'd be a whole new machine!

I tend to agree with you quickinferno, I'd have like'd to have seen one or two usb ports and yeah a more Apple-looking bezel would have been nice...hard to explain what I mean. Also what Krypto suggested, capability of saving to an SD card, this would have been amazing! I wonder if they will put an OSX on there or atleast allow us to put one on as part of an upgrade or an add-on that won't break the bank.

Since they didn't announce it that way only a few months before release, I don't see it happening. The iPhone, iPad, etc... Use an ARM processor (not x86 compatible architecture). This would require Apple to rewrite their OS for that architecture and Apple isn't especially known to make an OS compatible with other than what it was intended at first
.
