do you hold product key for microsoft office if my laptop is covered under warrenty?

Future Shop does not record this personal data in any event -- that would be equivalent to a mechanic making a copy of your car key before working on your car. Just as I wouldn't want someone else being able to get into my car, I wouldn't want anyone else being able to use my copy of Office.

If you need to reinstall Office after your laptop was sent out for warranty work, you'll need to use the Product Key found inside your Office disc case.

If required, Future Shop can back up your Office documents/spreadsheets/presentations, however. Your data is not covered by your warranty, so there is a fee for this service.
