What and where can I get the program to reboot the computer? My computer has a virus in the hardware and cannot function and turn on and I want to clean up and restart the computer. Is there anyone that can show me the basics

Thanks for the question louisjnguyen. Depending on the make and model of your computer, you may be able to simply press a key or 2 upon startup that may initiate the recovery (reformat) process. If this is not an option you would have to reinstall the operating system by using the CD/DVD. Here is a simple guide that outlines the process. Please be advised that Future Shop is not responsible for any data loss or anything that may go wrong. If you are in doubt, please have a professional technician complete this work for you. Also, be aware that formatting (reinstalling operating system) will erase ALL data from the computer prior to completion.
I would recommend taking your computer into the nearest Future Shop to have one of the certified technicians perform the work. This way it will be done correctly, with all drivers and such working properly. The cost to do a OS Restore is $99.99.
I hope you found that useful, please reply if you should have any more questions.
