The new 9.2 surround sound adds 2 speakers to your immediate left and right, as well as another to the rear. And of course we can't forget to add another subwoofer into the mix.
You can click here to see a simple diagram. This picture depicts 2 subwoofers in the middle of the room. Where shall we put them you ask ? Well in the couch of course ! I'm kidding.
Please be aware that most A/V Receivers that are capable of 9.2 are quite expensive at the moment. As this technology matures, prices will come down a bit.
