I'm not sure exactly what you mean, also, I don't work around Rock Band and only have one version, so this may be inaccurate. From what I know, there are 6 track packs, if that's what you mean. There are also many songs that are available as a download and not available in track packs. If you're asking how many different actual versions of Rock Band there are, I've no idea.

After doing some research I have found that there are 6 (six) Track Packs for RockBand including the AC/DC one. The two major relases are Rockband and Rockband 2.
Please be aware that there is also Rockband: Beatles, Rockband: Lego and the upcoming Rockband: GreenDay
I found all this information at a site called Rockband Wiki
In summary, 2 major relases, 1 Special Edition Rockband: Beatles, 6 TrackPacks, and 1 Lego one.
Rockband: Venues and Rockband: GreenDay are scheduled to be released in the near future.
So in total there would be 12
