Hand Eye Society Social To Host DYAD World Premiere
Toronto's Hand Eye Society is doing well with exclusives--after all, what other town can claim to have their own dedicated arcade machine, full of locally developed indie games?--and the collective's next social gathering (number five, to be exact) is to feature the world premiere of a new, previously unannounced project from the development team of Pekko Koskinen and Shaun McGrath.
There's absolutely no information on DYAD available at this current point, which makes this event really rather exciting. If you're looking for examples on what the team has previously worked on as an example, Koskinen is a Finland-based game developer who has designed two IGF award winning titles--Dragonfly Variations and Spawns of Deflebub--and co-created the TOJam game Flowers of Error with Jonathan Mak (Everyday Shooter).
McGrath is a Toronto-based developer, and created Chain3 for the iPhone/iPod touch, as ToJam titles Xiq and A Game About Bouncing.
At best, I can offer this screenshot of the title:
If you're interested, the event happens at the Unit Bar 1198 Queen St. W, on November 26th at 7 p.m..
