Adobe targets Apple in ad campaign launched today, publishes open letter from founders
If you don't know what we're talking about, it's the advertisements that start with "We [heart] Apple." Along with the web ads, the company has also snagged a full page in today's Washington Post to address the battle in which the two companies have been engaged . All of this links back to a new statement from Adobe, as well as an open letter from founders Chuck Geschke and John Warnock ("Our thoughts on open markets"), addressing Apple's recent spate of clear and direct attacks against the company and its products.

Gizmodo e-mail to Jobs: 'We have nothing to lose'

The affidavit, prepared by detective Matthew Broad in the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, says Jobs contacted Gizmodo editor Brian Lam on April 19, the same day the gadget blog published a story about the 4G iPhone.

Jobs requested via phone that the blog's editors return the device--but Lam refused to do so, unless a company would confirm that it was Apple's.

New hard drive write method packs in one terabit per inch
In a paper in Nature Photonics this week, researchers describe a way to combine two hard drive writing methods to store data at densities of up to one terabit per square inch, and suggest the media could be stable up to ten terabits per square inch.

New hard drive write method packs in one terabit per inch... this is going to be expensive.
