I've been having one of those weeks where there's been simply too much to do and I've been too excitable to do much of it, which means it doesn't really make much sense that this is the week that I decided to investigate the browser FPS, a relatively new form for gaming that intends to be a quick, pick-up-and-play timesink. Ok, the XP to Windows 7 upgrade isn't going as expected -- remember those driver issues I mentioned previously? Well my Wacom Bamboo tablet is loading before my mouse driver, and the OS isn't recognizing my USB drives. All in a day's upgrade...it seems. Now I'm sitting in the gorgeous, historic Orpheum theatre, waiting for the E3 press conference to start. Just like the earlier Xbox Media Briefing, I can't get the wifi to work so this liveblog isn't exactly going to be very live, unless things change suddenly, I guess.
