I bought 2 sets of Panasonic Dect 6 home phones on sale. Each set consists of 1 base unit and 1 satellite unit, so now I have 2 base units and 2 satellite units. Will this actually work at home? I'm assuming that the problem will be that all settings with set A will have to be keyed in again on set B (ie. ring settings, address books, etc).
Thanks for any insight you can provide.

I've done this as well. What I did was set up the second base unit to not answer the phone (assuming you have a model with built in answering machine). Since there is no difference between the base unit handset and the satellite handsets, just configure the handset on the second base unit to function as a satellite handset. The second base unit will simply function as a charger for its handset. What you will end up with is one fully functional base unit, and three satellite handsets.

Glad to hear it worked.
I just re-read my instructions above, and remembered that what I really did with the second base unit was to simply not cable it to a phone jack - so no configuration of the second base unit is necessary at all.
