At last night’s Canadian Videogame Awards (CVAs), Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall’s Video Games Live ( VGL ) dazzled the crowds throughout the ceremony with their lively sounds of gaming music, and brought out special guests like Vancouver’s Splitting Adam and Master Chief from Halo . I caught a few clips of VGL in action at the CVAs – check out the smattering of videos below. VGL, along with colour commentary and hosting by Electronic Playground's Victor Lucas , were awesome additions to the first ever CVAs.

Also, if you’re in Vancouver tonight and intrigued to see Video Games Live in person, drop by Future Shop’s VGL page and grab your tickets. The fun starts at 6:00 p.m. PT with contests for best costumes, Guitar Hero – with a chance to rock out on stage with the VGL crew and gaming demos, courtesy of Future Shop.
